Menlo College Campus Walk

Welcome to Menlo College, a small private college on about 45 acres in Atherton, between San Francisco and San Jose. This walk is written for prospective students and families who are visiting outside the scheduled campus tours, and for anyone curious about the place.
Over nine stops you will see where Menlo students take classes, study, get tutoring, eat, compete and live, and hear how a two-year college for young men that opened in 1927 grew into the four-year college of today. Along the way you will learn about the business school that started here in 1949, a library that began life as a dining hall, and the Douglass mansion next door.
The loop is short and flat, well under a mile, and takes about an hour with time to look around. It starts at the Admissions Building near the El Camino Real entrance and ends close by. Please stay on public walkways and outdoor areas, and treat residence halls and other buildings as places where people live and work.
