The Grove - Food, Health and Student Life
A stop on Canada College Campus Walk, a free self-guided tour.
The buildings around you, 5, 6 and 8, are the everyday heart of campus. Building 5 holds The Grove, the cafeteria and dining room, and upstairs are many of the services students lean on outside class.
The Health Center and the Personal Counseling Center share space here, along with the Career Center, which helps with job searches, resumes and career planning. Student Life and Leadership and the student government, the Associated Students of Canada College, have their office here too, so this is the place to find clubs and campus events. Building 5 also hosts the Canada Market, which is run with SparkPoint, a program that helps students with food and finances.
Next door, Building 8 holds the president's office and other administrative offices, and Building 2 is the campus bookstore.
If you are visiting during the term, this is a good spot to watch campus life and get a sense of the students. Grab a snack if The Grove is open and the hours allow.
Getting here: From the quad, follow the path south past Building 13 to the buildings around The Grove.
Did you know?: The Health Center and the Personal Counseling Center share one suite in Building 5, so students can find physical and mental health support at the same door.
